Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, part of Methodist Healthcare System, is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for night shift 2100-0730 or 2200-0830, four nights a week. You will manage airway, monitor neuro/cardiac status, provide wound care, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requires a diploma/associate/baccalaureate RN, Texas license, BLS, and at least 6 months RN experience. On-call duties discussed in interview; on-site care with staffing support and leadership committed to

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program (diploma/associate/baccalaureate).
• Minimum of 6 months clinical RN experience.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact with Texas requirement within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU.
• Monitor neurological and cardiac status; manage airway support.
• Provide initial wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Respond to complications and educate patients and families.
