Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU for a 13-week assignment in San Antonio, Texas. The PACU RN will care for post-anesthesia patients, monitor patients as they wake, and coordinate with the surgical team.

Requirements include active RN license, graduation from accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months PACU experience. Weekly pay, housing options, and credentialing support are offered.

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a PACU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-anesthesia patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local; treat inpatients and outpatients as needed.
• Monitor patients as they wake from anesthesia and coordinate with the surgical team; reassess and respond to changes in patient status.
