Job summary

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Part-Time PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in San Antonio. The RN will manage postoperative care, monitor airway and vital status, and respond to complications.

On-call coverage is required during select non-business hours and scheduling is posted in advance. You will collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams, perform wound care, and educate patients and families about care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN).
• Minimum of six months of clinical experience as an RN.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State License; Texas license within 60 days if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Provide initial wound care and ensure stability during recovery.
