Qualifications

• Reads safety rules and operating instructions.
• Writes routine reports and correspondence.
• Speaks effectively before groups or employees.
• Uses common sense to follow oral instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all tray packers and ensure proper operations.
• Maintain video jet: cleaning, liquid levels, proper coding, legible print.
• Monitor shrink-wrap machine and add film as required.
• Fill in for other packaging machine operators during breaks or vacations.
• Monitor date on master shipper for legibility and corrective actions.
• Set up equipment and material for production runs.
• Keep work area clean, sanitary, safe and productive.
• Follow GMPs and report safety/quality concerns.
• Perform sanitation procedures per food safety standards.
• Run and clean fillers and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Navigate tablet-based operating system for quality checks.
• Follow ingredient mixing instructions.
• Ensure food safety and food quality of MFI products.
