Job summary

Grand Central Bakery is seeking a Bread Packaging Supervisor to lead nightly expediting operations and ensure accurate order fulfillment with high product quality. You will coordinate between Bread Production, Sales and Delivery teams, mentor staff, and uphold food safety standards while maintaining organized, efficient work areas.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching, and clear communication to support a reliable, customer-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a wholesale warehouse or delivery environment.
• 1+ year of management or leadership experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge or experience with HACCP preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nightly expediting operations to ensure accurate orders and high product quality.
• Coordinate with Bread Production, Sales and Delivery teams to manage workflow and resolve issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support problem resolution as needed.
• Maintain food safety standards, clean work areas, and complete daily checklists.
• Support and train expediting team members on job duties, safety, and quality procedures.
• Communicate updates and adjustments to team members and supervisors; use Teams and email.
