Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Labor/Delivery Surgical Technologist in Greeley, Colorado. The role supports the surgical team by selecting and arranging instruments and supplies during procedures, and by scrubbing in to assist with instrumentation and suturing as needed.

The position requires high school diploma/GED, BLS certification, and the ability to work three 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotations. Competitive pay and hospital-wide benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge and current basic life support certification.
• Registration with State Regulatory Agency where applicable.
• Ability to remain conscientious, organized and calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures by pulling instruments and supplies and ensuring instruments are in good working order.
• Anticipates the surgeon’s needs and passes instruments during surgery.
• Maintains aseptic technique and handles sharps, trash, and counting of sponges and instruments.
• Assists with OR turnover, stocking, replenishing supplies and cleaning operating rooms.
• May provide administrative support to the department.
