Job summary

Banner Health in Greeley, CO is hiring a Night shift Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. The unit handles ~130 births per month in a 10-bed setting, delivering patient-centered care with evidence-based practices.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS, and clinical experience in acute care. A Bachelor’s degree and professional certification are preferred. Relocation assistance and a hiring incentive may be available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual and discharge planning needs.
• Formulates a plan of care including discharge planning.
• Implements the plan of care through direct patient care and coordination.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Promotes evidence-based care and participates in education/leadership as appropriate.
• May supervise staff and workflow within the department.
