Job summary

Banner Health in Greeley, Colorado is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for Labor/Delivery. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for mothers and newborns, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

Strong communication and patient advocacy are essential as you support a busy 10-bed unit with approximately 130 births per month. Night shifts and shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Formulate and execute an individualized plan of care with realistic goals.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and communicate patient status.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care and support unit leadership when appropriate.
• Interact with staff, physicians, patients, families and external contacts to ensure comprehensive care.
