Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to join the Mobile Crisis Response Teams. You will work on-site within a multidisciplinary team, drawing on personal recovery experience to support consumers during crisis and connect them to wellness resources.

Responsibilities include advocating for consumers, conducting triage with QMHP/LPHA, developing service plans, and coordinating with community partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Personal experience as a client, parent, guardian or caregiver of behavioral health services.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proof of auto insurance; Annual Driving Abstract.
• CRSS within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an individual advocate for consumers.
• Provide peer support using recovery experiences.
• Assess needs, goals and resources of consumers.
• Triage with QMHP/LPHA when acute crisis is present.
• Transport consumers to appointments and services.
• Develop and implement individual service plans with the team.
• Coordinate with community agencies and providers.
