Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Technician for the Night shift in the Nursery Mother Baby department in White Plains, NY. The role includes ADLs, vital signs, I&O, EKGs, specimen collection, and assisting with meals and transport, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification, and experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; hospital or patient-care experience preferred.
• Nursing technicians trained to read monitors require the 4-day EKG class.
• BLS certification required upon hire or within 6 months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork and problem-solving are essential.

Responsibilities
