Job summary

Duties include ADL support, vital signs, I&O, performing EKGs, dressing changes, specimen collection, meals assistance and patient transport, with a focus on safety, infection control and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous hospital or patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and simple dressing changes.
• Assist with meals, transport, and specimen collection.
• Prepare and assist with EKGs and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and performance standards.
