The ideal candidate has a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 5 years of acute/critical care experience with leadership credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or BSN completed within 5 years of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• RN license required; multi-state or Virginia license eligibility depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care delivery when Nursing Directors are not in the hospital.
• Make rounds, collaborate with staff to address clinical and staffing issues.
• Document practice variations and staff non-compliance to HR policies.
