Valley Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an Operations Supervisor (RN) for full-time night shifts to lead hospital operations and support patient care during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires an RN with a BSN and strong clinical judgment, plus experience in critical care or emergency nursing, to coordinate admissions, bed management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• BSN required and CA RN license.
• Master’s degree preferred; ACLS/PALS recommended.
• Experience leading hospital operations and nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical leadership for hospital operations during assigned shifts.
• Serve as the hospital resource for nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient throughput.
• Lead bed management and conduct bed board meetings during high census.
• Respond to emergencies, codes, and disasters with appropriate resources.
• Support Charge Nurses in safe patient placement and flow optimization.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to resolve barriers to care.
• Monitor staffing needs and adjust resources for safe assignments.
• Assist with patient placement decisions based on acuity and resources.
• Promote policy compliance, safety, and quality initiatives.
