Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking a Nursing House Supervisor to lead six correctional health clinics, providing clinical direction for night shift operations and ensuring NCCHC standards are met.

You will mentor staff, oversee staffing, and partner with the Nursing Manager on process improvements, with duties including supervision of RNs, LPNs, MAs, and EMTs, and delivering world-class patient care.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or ambulatory care setting.
• A valid, unrestricted RN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or multi-compact license.
• Desirable: correctional health experience and supervisory background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-6 clinics during night shift and ensure NCCHC standards for patient care.
• Supervise workflows, staffing, and clinic assignments for RNs, LPNs, MAs, and EMTs.
• Partner with nursing leadership on operational improvements and change management.
• Coach, mentor, and train night shift staff.
• Performance management and feedback in collaboration with Nursing Manager.
• Foster inclusive, positive staff culture and on-site orientation for new staff.
