Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor for House Operations in North Carolina. You will provide leadership for patient care and nursing staff during the 7pm–7am shifts, facilitating admissions, transfers, and bed management across the hospital.

This role requires an MSN or related master’s degree, NC RN licensure, and at least three years of acute care and supervisory experience. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• MSN or Master's degree in a related field required.
• Three years acute care nursing experience (Emergency, Medical-Surgical or Critical Care).
• Three years supervisory or leadership experience.
• RN license in North Carolina.
• Certification within one year of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Nursing Management to lead staffing decisions during assigned hours.
• Analyses resource utilization and recommends changes to Nursing leadership.
• Coordinates patient admissions, bed management, and transfers with Admitting Office.
• Partners with physicians and nurses to resolve clinical/operational issues.
• Acts as on-site liaison for Hospital Administrator on-call and media inquiries.
• Ensures care quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
