Job summary

Join the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System as a Nursing Assistant on the night shift at West Los Angeles Community Living Center 213-2. You will work with licensed nursing staff to provide comprehensive care to Veterans with diverse health needs, including preventive, acute, sub-acute, chronic, maintenance, and hospice support.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring patient status, and supporting the nurse care plan within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Six months of general experience or one year of education related to Nursing Assistant
• Must be proficient in English for direct patient care
• GS-5 level requires experience and KSAs

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care under supervision.
• Perform basic nursing tasks and measurements (vital signs).
• Ensure safety and infection control.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare team.
