Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the 5th Med-Surg unit at FMC Main Campus in Lancaster, OH. The role includes assisting with bathing, feeding, vital signs, and daily care under RN supervision.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with STNA preferred and CPR training within six months of hire. The position is full-time, night shift, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and no driving required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; STNA preferred.
• CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment.
• Nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, changing bed lines.
• Collect, document, and report vital signs (temp, BP, pulse, height, weight).
• Empty drainage containers and maintain intake/output records.
• Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care (positioning, lifting, turning).
• Report changes in patient condition or behavior.
• Assist with treatment procedures and maintain equipment/supplies.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
