Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a Staff RN. You will provide personal care, monitor vital signs, assist with pre- and post-operative tasks, and ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; STNA preferred, CPR certification within six months, and physical ability to lift 50-100 pounds. Prior nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality must be maintained.
• CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE certification within six months of employment.
• Nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the treatment and care of patients under RN supervision.
• Provides personal care: bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, changing bed lines.
• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
• Assists with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care including positioning.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Maintains supplies and reports malfunctioning equipment.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
