Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in the treatment and care of the patient under the direction of a Staff RN, providing personal care including bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care and changing bed lines.
• Collect, document, and report vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, weight) and maintain intake/output records.
• Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care, including positioning, lifting and turning.
• Report changes observed in patient condition or behavior to the RN and assist in procedures as directed.
• Maintain supplies and report malfunctioning equipment; ensure HIPAA confidentiality and professionalism.
