Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK is hiring a Nurse Tech for the night shift as a regular part-time team member. You will provide assisted patient care under supervision and support nurses in daily rounds, safety checks, and basic procedures.

Qualifications

• Performs direct patient care tasks under supervision.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to falls policies.
• Assists with basic treatments and procedures as listed.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal patient care tasks (mouth care, beds, baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving, backrubs, bedpans/urinals).
• Assist with patient safety issues (ID bands, fall protocol, restraints, positioning, rest environment, incident reporting).
• Performs treatments (urinary catheter care, enemas, sitz baths, compresses, ambulation support).
• Conducts basic diagnostic testing (vital signs, glucose, 12-Lead EKG, telemetry, pulse oximetry, Doppler).
• Performs sterile procedures (wound care, tracheostomy care, suction, catheterization, tube feedings).
• Note: Nurse Techs may not administer medications or independently assess patients.
