Job summary

Salude is seeking Night Nurse Supervisor (LPN/RN) to provide independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Assess resident needs, develop care plans, administer nursing care, and evaluate nursing care.

Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other personnel, with possible supervision of other RNs. The role emphasizes adherence to state and federal regulations, ongoing education, and a collaborative approach with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure

Qualifications

Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as an LPN or RN.
Must hold and maintain CPR certification.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire for licensed staff.
Geriatrics-focused clinical experience or education.
Understanding of state and Federal nursing regulations.
Active pursuit of continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

Ensure effective quality nursing care focused on resident outcomes.
Contribute to discharge planning and follow-up throughout stay.
Develop individualized care plans with resident/family and care team.
Implement care plans consistently, efficiently, and with resident-centered focus.
Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals; share relevant plan changes.
Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort with current nursing practices.
