Job summary

Interlochen Center for the Arts is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Health Services team on the third shift, year-round. This full-time role supports boarding students and camp participants, with a schedule of three to four 12-hour shifts per week and every-other-weekend rotations.

Designed for a dedicated professional, the position emphasizes high-quality patient care, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA/FERPA while enjoying holidays off during academic breaks.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license required to practice in Michigan.
• RN preferred; ADN or BS considered with relevant experience.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in hospital, clinic, or school nursing.
• Good pediatric assessment skills and patient care judgment.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently when needed.
• Experience in a school environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for students with illnesses or injuries in Health Services.
• Administer medications per policy and document accordingly.
• Evaluate students who present to health services and escalate as needed.
• Document visits and maintain EMR records accurately.
• Respond to on-campus urgent and emergent health situations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and health staff.
