Job summary

Fiesta Park Wellness & Rehabilitation seeks a nurse supervisor to lead nursing staff across 12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The role ensures care delivery aligns with professional standards through physician orders and center policies.

The ideal candidate is licensed as RN/LPN/LVN and has experience in nursing management. Responsibilities include infection control, QA/QA participation, and coordinating patient education with families.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN/LPN/LVN in state; for RNs, Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinates care delivery per standards and physician orders.
• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.

Your Job Summary

Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the HCR Infection Control Manual.

Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Q.A.A.

Utilizes the Quality Life Practice Guide Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.

Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.

Conducts family and patient education.
