Job summary

Fiesta Park Wellness & Rehabilitation in Albuquerque, NM seeks a patient‑focused Nursing Manager to supervise nursing personnel and coordinate care in accordance with professional standards. The role works within physician orders, center policies, and applicable guidelines to ensure patient needs are met.

The ideal candidate holds an RN/LPN/LVN license in the state, with at least an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and around one year of nursing management experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN/LPN/LVN in state is required.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One-year nursing management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing personnel to deliver care.
• Coordinates care delivery within professional standards and physician orders.
• Implements infection control and QA guidelines and monitors patient programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and discharge planning.
• Provides family and patient education.

Your Job Summary

Supervises nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the HCR Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Q.A.A.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Practice Guide Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
