Job summary

UVA Health in Manassas, VA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Floater to join the Float Pool. The role supports various units during shifts, providing consistent quality care and adapting to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities include nursing interventions, medication administration, and collaborating with the team to educate patients and families. A BSN is preferred and compact RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree preferred - BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous quality patient care in multiple settings as part of the Float Pool.
• Work in several different clinical areas as assigned across units.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to educate patient and support system.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions.
• Respond to critical situations and support with CPR when needed.
