Job summary
NPACE is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and specialty nursing and medical care in pediatric general surgery and otolaryngology (ENT) departments. The role includes night shifts from 6pm to 7am and requires collaboration with physicians and hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Starting bonus included. Requires RN license in Ohio, NP certification, and prescriptive authority (or eligibility).
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in nursing preferred.
- Licensed as an RN in Ohio and NP certification.
- Must have certificate to prescribe (or eligible).
- Credentialing as active medical staff member with privileges.
- Current BLS training required.
Responsibilities
- Provides advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions, including the delivery of acute care services.
- Practice with neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
- Operate in high-acuity care settings with continuous nursing vigilance.
- Participate in quality monitoring including FPPE/OPPE for Joint Commission.
- Promote health, disease prevention, and diagnosis/treatment of health problems.
- Complete admission H&Ps and discharge summaries as required.
