Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families on a 12-hour shift cycle (7 PM–7:30 AM) with every other weekend requirements and on-call not required. The role includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, respect patient dignity, and ensure safety and outcomes.

California RN licensure and BLS/NRP are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in California
• BLS for Healthcare Professionals required
• NRP certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Communicate effectively with care team, patients, and families to plan and implement nursing care.
• Guide and mentor nurses and students; participate in preceptorship as needed.
• Adhere to nursing process and evaluate care plans for patients with complex needs.
