Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk and newborn deliveries
• Manage NICU admissions
• Start IVs and draw labs
• Deliver safe, evidence-based neonatal nursing in accordance with hospital policy
• Demonstrate leadership, delegation, and sound clinical judgment
• When census is low: postpartum (PP) experience may assist with newborn or couplet assignments
