Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Neuro Telemetry unit at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time night position runs 6:00 PM–6:30 AM with 3-12 hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

The caregiver assists, observes, and reports patient changes under licensed supervision and maintains accurate medical records. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months of recent healthcare experience; BLS is required and CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Block 1 in Nursing or MA or NA or EMT or BHT or 6 months healthcare experience in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provides and collaborates on direct patient care under a licensed caregiver.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition and maintains medical records.
• Addresses questions from patients, families, and health care team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
