Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a RN for Neuro Intensive Care Unit on a night shift. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in nursing with at least 1 year in a dedicated Neuro ICU, plus BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.

The nurse will provide critical neuro care in a high-acuity unit, with a 1:2 patient ratio and 3x12-hour night shifts. Responsibilities include neuro assessments, ventilated patient management, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a dedicated Neuro specialty ICU.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Must-Have: Competent in hourly neurological assessments; experience managing intracranial pressure; understanding of external ventricular drain (EVD) management; knowledge in subarachnoid hemorrhage management; experience in post-thrombectomy management; familiarity with post-craniotomy management.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and respond to changes in neuro status.
• Administer medications and manage ventilated patients in a high-acuity ICU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 and ensure safety during 3x12-hour night shifts.
• Document care accurately in Epic; may float to sister facilities as needed.
