Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Group in Reading, PA is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Level II NICU team on a PRN overnight basis.

This role provides opportunity to care for newborns and participate in the well-baby nursery and delivery room with a collaborative team. You will manage overnight NICU care, coordinate with attending physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and leverage in-house Respiratory Therapist support with overnight Neonatologist backup

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of employment
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Two (2) years of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Overnight care management for NICU patients and coordination with attending physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide high-quality care to critically ill and newborn patients in a Level II NICU.
• Collaborate with in-house Respiratory Therapist and overnight Neonatologist for consultations and delivery room coverage.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Nurse Practitioner license (PA)

BLS

NRP

RN experience (2+ years)
