Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Neonatal ICU RN for a part-time third shift at Baptist Medical Center South. The role requires applying the nursing process to assess, plan, and deliver care for neonatal patients.

You will coordinate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care. Requirements include a nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP or TNCC may be required depending on the unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area assigned.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include observation, assessment, safety and infection control standards; independent and team work; strong communication; patient/customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
