Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. This position offers a 7 on, 7 off graveyard shift with hours from 8pm to 6am, and a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 plus relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic MRI exams, coordinate with radiologists and physicians, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining safety and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or cross-trained MRI certification.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/other MRI competency and follow safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and position for MRI exams.
• Perform MRI exams with quality imaging and accuracy.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and QC.
• Instruct and assist teammates on exam protocols and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort, education, and infection control.
• Accurately document procedures and any adverse reactions.
