Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an MRI Technologist in Williamsburg, VA for a full-time night shift role. You will perform MRI examinations, ensure safety, and manage patient communication and documentation. A $30K bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications include MRI school or 24-month radiologic tech program, CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT, and BLS. MR experience preferred; 1 year Rad Tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI school/certificate program or graduation from a 24-month radiologic technology program.
• CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT required; must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year of Rad Tech experience preferred in radiology related fields.
• MR experience or MR didactic program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations and ensure safety in the MRI area.
• Explain procedures to patients and document examinations.
• Maintain MRI supplies and inventory.
• Assist with departmental documentation.
