Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for the night shift. You will perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, and maintain the MRI suite in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of a 24-month program in radiologic technology in lieu of experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1-year experience in a Rad Tech position including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred.
• Six months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations while maintaining safety and the integrity of the MRI area for staff and patients.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
• Explain examinations and procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation.
