Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL seeks a part-time Support Tech (Nights) to assist with patient mobility and unit desk tasks. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, optimizing mobility with lifting equipment and handling nurse call systems, phones, stocking, and filing.

A strong communicator and team player with clerical or nursing assistant experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; college degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient mobility using lifting equipment under RN supervision.
• Serve as unit desk support: answer nurse call system, answer phones, stock supplies, file.
• Maintain clean, uncluttered environment of care and support nursing staff.
