Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Mobile Assessor to perform nighttime mobile mental health evaluations for contracted hospitals. You will assess risk, determine the appropriate level of care, and triage to services across zones.

The role requires LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW or RN licensure, a valid driver's license, and prior mobile assessment experience is preferred. This is a full-time night position Sunday-Thursday.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Registered Nurse.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of internship including individual, group, or family therapy/counseling.
• Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling; mobile assessment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention.
• Conduct mental health assessments.
• Counsel and refer patients to appropriate services.
• Coordinate and transfer information as needed.
