Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic Mobile Assessor (Full Time Evenings) to perform mental health assessments for contracted ERs/hospitals. You will assess risk factors, determine appropriate levels of care, and triage patients to services.

The role requires licensure (LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW/RN), CPR if required, and a valid driver’s license, with internship experience in therapy. Mobile assessment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current licensure in state as a LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW or RN.
• Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of internship with individual, group or family therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments for contracted ERs/hospitals.
• Recommend appropriate level of care based on risk factors.
• Triage patients to appropriate services.
• Crisis intervention as needed.
