Qualifications

• Bachelor level nursing education and licensure requirements.

• Professional certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Performs all responsibilities of staff nurse role.
• Functions as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintains accountability for assigned patients.
• Delegates tasks to team members while retaining responsibility for patient care.
• Provides care appropriate to each patient’s age and developmental level.
