Job summary

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited school is required.
• BSN must be obtained within three years for hires after 2017.
• Florida RN license or eligibility with SSN confirmation required.
• BLS certification required on first day of employment.
• Specialty certifications may be required within department timelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate care and ensure continuity across the patient care continuum.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Function as Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with policies.
