Job summary

Henry Ford Health Macomb Hospital in Michigan is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care team in the MICU. You will provide comprehensive inpatient care to critically ill patients, performing assessments, diagnoses, treatments and education in collaboration with intensivists, physicians and the nursing staff.

The Advanced Practice Provider will coordinate care, participate in procedures within credentialing limits, and work 36 hours per week in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care/MICU experience as an APP preferred.
• NP or PA graduate from an accredited program.
• Current (or in-process) Michigan licensure.
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA).
• BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient care to critically ill patients in MICU, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation and care coordination with the care team.
• Perform procedures consistent with credentialing, training and experience.
