Job summary

Wellfound is seeking a per diem Mental Health Tech for the night shift at our Tacoma, WA location. The role supports a multidisciplinary team, provides a safe, therapeutic environment, and assists with basic patient care under RN supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, active CNA/RN Assistant, BLS, Food Handler permit, and one year of direct mental health care experience. Night shifts run 7:00 pm–7:30 am with a minimum of four shifts per month.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Active CNA or CNA–RN Assistant qualification needed.
• BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• One year direct patient care in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Follow RN directions and shift assignments.
• Take vital signs and document in Epic.
• Notify RN of any abnormal findings or patient changes.
• Conduct safety checks and assist with patient hygiene.
• Assist with groups and patient care tasks as needed.
