Job summary

Spring Arbor of Athens in Athens, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant to support Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, working closely with the Resident Care Director.

You will greet residents, administer medications per State guidelines, assist with bathing, dressing and mobility, and help lead activities, with shifts from 10pm–6am and pay at $18.00 per hour. This role emphasizes compassionate, relationship-building care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, associates, and visitors with warmth and a service-first attitude
• Administer medications accurately per State guidelines
• Support daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Stay in close communication with the Resident Services team to keep care consistent
• Jump in on and help lead resident activities
• Keep resident satisfaction at the center of everything you do
