Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant for the overnight shift (11pm–7am). You will support residents with medication reminders, administer medications per state rules, and collaborate with pharmacy and health staff to ensure accurate distribution and safety.

You will maintain digital patient records, perform room checks, and respond to resident needs, while upholding hospitality and high service standards. This role requires flexibility and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 2–4 years related experience.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• ESL medication competency at hire and as required by state regulations.
• First Aid and CPR certification if required by state law and/or company policy.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations.
• Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order and receive medication and coordinate with the pharmacy when not available.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents.
• Maintain resident records in the digital platform daily, including medications and incidents.
• Perform room visits and room checks on a regular basis.
• Assist with resident care when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for assistance and emergencies.
• Monitor safety and well-being and communicate changes to health staff.
• Audit rooms for self-administered medications and ensure guideline compliance.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor and teammates.
