Job summary

EOSIS in Pine City, MN is seeking a part-time Medication Aide for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am). You will assist with medication administration under the Nurse Manager, helping patients in addiction treatment and behavioral health services.

This role offers shift differential and 20 days PTO plus holidays. Responsibilities include administering prescribed meds, recording administration times, and restocking inventories while collaborating with nurses and counselors to support recovery and

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High School education or GED.
Training of medication administration.
Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse.
Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database.
Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
Record and restock medication inventories.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
