Job summary

EOSIS in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a full-time Medication Aide for the 2nd shift. You will support individuals receiving addiction treatment and behavioral health services, administer prescribed medications under nurse supervision, and help maintain patient safety and recovery.

The role offers a $19–$22 hourly wage, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, 20 days PTO plus 6 holidays, and benefits including health, dental, and vision. Shift is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with potential shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training of medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions
• Record and restock medication inventories
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor
