Job summary

EOSIS is seeking a full-time Medication Aide for the 3rd shift in Mahtomedi, MN. You will assist with medication administration under the Nurse Manager, collaborate with nurses and clinicians, and help create a safe environment supporting recovery and wellness.

Pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour. Shift is 11:00 pm to 7:30 am with shift differential. Benefits include PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) options, and Verizon plan discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training of medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse.
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database.
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Record and restock medication inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
