Job summary

EOSIS is seeking a part-time Medication Aide for the 3rd shift in Saint Paul, MN. You will support medication administration under the Nurse Manager's supervision and collaborate with nurses, counselors, and technicians to provide safe, recovery-focused care.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed meds, verifying patient identity, recording administration times, and restocking inventories. Shift differential is available, and benefits are provided for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training of medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions
• Record and restock medication inventories
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor
