Job summary

Pathnostics is seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician for the night shift in Lake Mary, FL. You will perform biological specimen processing, moderate to high complexity tests, and quality control in a CAP/CLIA laboratory, while collaborating with a skilled team. The position runs Tue-Sat, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
• CAP/CLIA laboratory experience preferred
• Knowledge of microbiology techniques preferred

Responsibilities

• Biological specimen preparation, labeling, preservation or fixation, and processing
• Performing moderate to high complexity tests according to established protocols
• Assisting in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Preparation and storage of specimens, reagents, and culture media
• Quality control procedures
• Maintain/monitor turnaround times for department assays
• Documenting and following the laboratory's Quality Management System
