Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies specimen identification with physician orders and handles specimens safely.
• Analyzes testing results and interprets abnormal results.
• Prepares patient data and forwards results to pathologists for review.
• Calibrates equipment, orders supplies, and maintains inventory.
• Maintains quality-control data and troubleshooting records.
• Assists with staff training on laboratory techniques and operations.
• Adheres to University policies and protects University assets.
